Instagram Account Example:

Critical Reflection:

I created two posts for the website which could be shared among a range of social media platforms, focused specifically on Instagram. I got the inspiration for these posts from the 'Our Planet' Instagram account which also had information posts with borders to make them look more appealing. 

You can see from the 'Our Planet' Instagram account, they have a continues colour theme of blue which spreads across all the images. As well as a range of factual posts mixed with content of what has been filmed on set such as the sea turtles. I took this as inspiration for the posts for my project too, by using images of a similar colour theme to ensure the account has an appealing overall look. I also added borders to the posts and effects to the images so that the text was clear and easy to read. 

However, you can see in the screenshots of the Instagram account created for my project, because there are only two posts created, it is hard to notice this ongoing theme. Which is why I added the posters to the account too, however this then took away from the ongoing theme, as the posters were edited differently with different background colours. 

If I were to improve the social media posts, I would have created more posts such as another ten. As this would have ensured the Instagram account had enough images to notice that there is a pattern and theme in the images which would have made the account more appealing to the audience.
